Title: The Myth of Homework: Examining Current Practice, Research & Alternatives Session Overview This webinar will examine a definition of homework and explore homework from a historical perspective. Jeff will also delve into the purpose and nature of homework via questions and explore possible changes in strategies. Jeff is a 20 year veteran of the middle school classroom. He is the math department head at Fall Creek Valley Middle School in Indianapolis, Indiana, and he has spent the last 8 years as a professional dev elopment provider and literacy coach presenting in his school district, the state of Indiana and across the country. Jeff is also a cross-country coach (it's probably how he keeps up with his students and his own kids)as well as a husband and the father of three. |
