Impact and Challenges of Rural Water Pollution

The study of fertilizer and animal waste runoff from farm or livestock operations may not typically excite students. But when students began to understand the challenges of this and other non-point source water pollution pose to our communities - and have the opportunity to learn about environmental science - excitement is keen. The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) worked with numerous community resources to connect students from six schools with experts in the field.

The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration, Inc. (CILC) was established in Indiana as a nonprofit corporation, and CILC has been previously recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. CILC's sole member is Vision Athena, Inc., a section 501(c)(4) tax exempt organization. CILC and Vision Athena may jointly provide services under the name CILC.
