Christine’s passion is reading comprehension on all levels. She enjoys working with classroom teachers to hone their skills with tips, hints, and best practice applications that bring reading comprehension and reading skills to life for all students.
She is a classroom teacher with a secondary education degree, a masters in education and expertise in analyzing reading comprehension on all levels---including elementary and secondary. Along with being a classroom teacher, Christine has been a consultant with the Indiana Department of Education, specifically in the area of Title I and early reading intervention and reading indicators as well as a literacy coach.

1. Enter your initial search criteria.
2. Select options you would like to see in your catalog.
3. Look for a special URL where you can visit your catalog anytime OR
Click the Create Custom Catalog for Printing button.
Suggestion: While you have the option to search for any date range, you might choose just one or two months at a time, as new programs are continually being added to the database.

Pinnacle Awards 2008-2009
Pinnacle Awards, awarded annually, are based on teacher evaluations submitted through the CILC website and recognize outstanding performance by providers of content.
Each school year, the scores of ALL program evaluations for each provider are averaged.
The score is derived from seven (7) questions which have numerical value and drive the star rating system on the CILC website.
This is the second year for Pinnacle Awards to Content Providers (student content)
and the FIRST year to Professional Development Providers (content for educators)

Alaskan EcoEscape
In Alaska global warming is very real. My family bought a house that’s extremely environmentally friendly. Using nature, it recycles the spring and gray water to reuse and even drink. We compost our waste, from kitchen scraps to toilet waste, by using worms. Cindee Karns is our first content provider that is currently Skype only. She lives in a remote area of Alaska and doesn't have enough bandwidth for H.323.
